Nicholas Joseph Begich Middle School offers educational opportunities for students in grades 6-8. The school community is focused on academic excellence. We are dedicated to providing a supportive environment where students will learn and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, attitudes and ethics necessary to become successful members of society.

Our school offers traditional instruction as well as advanced, English language learners, and special education services. Begich also offers many electives, sports programs, academic competitions and community events. To personalize learning and help ensure academic success, students and staff are aligned into small, learning communities - or teams - that work within the larger school to promote positive communication, relationships and academic achievement. We are proud of the opportunities our school offers to the community. We welcome parents to actively participate in the journey their child is taking through middle school.
