Welcome to South Anchorage High School Civil Leadership Program's lottery application. On this page you will find instructions to get you started.

The Civic Leadership Program is designed to foster critical thinking while emphasizing community responsibility, engagement, and college readiness. Students explore the connection between their individual interests, program of studies, and a responsibility to make a positive impact on their community. The program focuses on using evidence-based research to examine historical and contemporary issues through Socratic seminar and rhetorical analysis. The course offers a dual enrollment option within the University of Alaska system and requires volunteer hours as well as a senior capstone project.

Students must apply to this program as an incoming freshmen or sophomore in order to be able to complete the program requirements.
