Turnagain Elementary is an established elementary school located in the heart of west Anchorage. The school serves more than 200 students in 8 traditional, neighborhood classrooms. Turnagain has one full-time nurse, librarian, music teacher, 1.5 PE teachers, special education services, 2 bilingual tutors, a part-time art and health teacher, and a part-time counselor. Speech and language, and physical and occupational therapy service are available. Turnagain offers students a well-rounded education, incorporating State and District curriculum. Turnagain celebrates the diversity within our community.
